The Studio
The Ruth L. Holley Design Studio is a creative lab dedicated to design, education, and community. We provide access to tools, resources, and learning opportunities that help people build skill, confidence, and creative voice.

The Founder
Rashaad Holley is a designer, educator, and founder of The Ruth L. Holley Design Studio. His work is guided by a deep belief that creativity can serve as a bridge between art, education, and community. Through years of teaching, mentorship, and studio practice, he has built a space that encourages people to see design not as a distant craft but as something that lives in everyday experience.
His approach is rooted in accessibility, collaboration, and care. Each program and lesson offered through the studio reflects a commitment to creating opportunities for learning and growth. By combining hands-on instruction with open dialogue, Rashaad helps learners develop technical skill while also discovering their own creative rhythm and perspective.
The studio carries the name of his grandmother, Ruth L. Holley, as a reminder of legacy, resilience, and generosity. Her spirit continues to shape the studio’s mission and serves as a quiet source of inspiration behind every class, project, and partnership that unfolds within its walls.
